SHERPAS: Self-HEaling Rf Power Amplifier Systems
Process variations and model inaccuracies, as well as other sources of performance degradation, such as environmental variations, critically impact high-power design in nanometer-scale technologies, and reduce the yields of design. Self-healing is a method that can mitigate these issues by identifying any degradation and modifying the circuit to improve its performance post fabrication .
The aim of this research is design of a self healing PA that can have required performance under different process and enviromental variations with minimum overhead in terms of area, power and connectivity to the outside.
